Outpatient general anaesthesia allows for your child to go to ‘sleep’ throughout the whole dental appointment. All dental treatment is completed in one appointment and your child will have no recollection of the appointment. An anaesthetist provides general anaesthesia services. Recovery time is dependent on your child. We will observe children post-operatively until they have recovered to a sufficient level to allow them to go home safely.

We ask that children refrain from eating and/or drinking 8 hours prior to these appointments.
