The treatment of tongue-tie for infants and children is a simple, surgical procedure called a frenotomy. We will examine the upper lip and tongue frenulum to determine if a release is necessary for your child.

We use a laser to cut the frenums. The laser light removes the frenum under the tongue or upper lip to allow for a better range of motion. Because of the laser technology, there is minimal discomfort and almost no bleeding.
